The folks over at burger purveyor Milky Lane definitely don’t care one iota about your summer beach bod.
In fact, this month, the funky Darby Street eatery is serving up a concoction that would make even the staunchest glutton do a double-take.
Yep, that’s right! Dubbed the Get This India, this monster is laden with pretty much the ENTIRE menu of your local Indian takeaway.
Obviously not for the faint-hearted, you’re going to want to plan ahead before tackling this beast as it contains butter chicken AND papadum-coated fried chicken, mozzarella garlic naan fingers, papadums, coconut vindaloo sauce, mint yoghurt aoli, mango chutney and sliced cucumber.
Honestly just writing that sentence was enough to make this scribe break out in a cold sweat.
If this tower of food is your bag, well you’ll have to get in quick as this thing is only available until the end of January.
The announcement of this burger’s arrival was met with a flurry of ‘oohs’ and ‘ahs’ on social media with more than one punter questioning how humans were supposed to consume this thing without dislocating their jaw.
While some questioned whether the pic would match what ended up on the plate, the venue was quick to assure local burger hounds this would be the case.
“If it’s completely different to the pic, raise it on the spot. Like if it’s missing an ingredient or it looks like a fillet o fish, we will fix it. If your cheese doesn’t fall the same or it isn’t 3m high cause this pic was taken right in front, just suck it up and enjoy the ride princess,” they wrote.
So if you think you’re tough enough to handle this thing, head to Milky Lane at 13-15 Darby Street Newcastle.
