The Party everyone will be talking about will descend on the city later this month when the Spiegeltent hits Newcastle… And they’ll also be bringing back the Tokyo-inspired Maho Magic Bar, with fresh tricksters, fresh tricks and even fresher cocktails.
For those not so familiar with the magic beyond the walls of the Spiegeltent, this is entertainment with no rules, no boundaries, and no limits.
With a lavish stage and plenty of adult-only fun, The Party will invite you behind the velvet rope into a secret world of social climbers, rich kids, gate crashers and hangers-on.
It’s a risqué exploration of the laws of attraction and an insight into the debaucherous goings-on of a high-society soirée where nothing is off limits or uncensored.
Conceived and Directed by Scott Maidment, with comedy direction by Spencor Novich (American Horror Story, Blanc de Blanc) and choreography from LA’s Kevin Maher (choreographer to Madonna, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber), Novocastrians should anticipate a high-octane, provocative show full of surprises.
“Expect great music, extravagant costumes, and an escalating energy within a theatre set unlike anything you’ve ever seen before in The Spiegeltent,” Director Scott Maidment warns.

Seasoned international cast members include London West-End theatre royalty – Amanda Lindgren and Danny Collins Wright and New Yorker, Todd Degnan, who has toured and performed with Cirque US, numerous US Fringe Festivals, Live 305 Entertainment and Sea World.
