Blanc de Blanc Encore is a decadent cocktail of cabaret, burlesque, and daring circus acts and without doubt the most risqué show on the New Annual lineup.
Prepare yourself for a night like no other. The moment you cross the threshold of the Spiegeltent, that has taken over Civic Park until 22 October, you’ll feel like you’ve been whisked away to a 19th-century Parisian burlesque house.
It’s not the first time Blanc de Blanc Encore has caused a stir in Newcastle. But we’re not mad about it. There’s a reason this show has left an indelible mark on the Newcastle entertainment scene. The Strut & Fret hit show pushes boundaries you didn’t know you had and begs for repeat attendance.
It delivers jaw-dropping moments through awe-inspiring acrobatics and audaciously spicy dialogue. Whether you’re roaring with laughter or gasping in disbelief, this show keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to standing ovation.

Guiding you through the bubbly journey of Blanc de Blanc Encore are the show’s truly charming and mischievous hosts who effortlessly introduce you to the intoxicating world you’ve just been invited into.
And what a world it is. Musical interludes, led by Blanc’s enigmatic vocalist, breathe new life into classic songs. Cheeky and bold burlesque, command every eye and the cast’s sheer strength and acrobatic prowess will leave even the fittest audience members questioning their life choices.
One moment you’re laughing hysterically and the next you’re clutching your pearls watching performers execute unbelievable feats above your head and whirling around the room on a flexible pole, topping off your champagne glass.

Beyond all the undress, acrobatics and hilarity though, it becomes pretty clear that you’re in the presence of world-class, multi-talented performers at the peak of their artistry.
Simply put, Blanc de Blanc Encore is the embodiment of why live performances are unmatched. There’s no equivalent to the electric atmosphere, and you’ll often find yourself in disbelief that it’s happening right before your eyes.

Here are three tips that will help you make the most of your hedonistic night at Blanc de Blanc Encore.
HIT THE BAR
We’d recommend arriving at least 30 minutes, if not an hour before doors open for the show. You can grab a drink, meet up with your crew, and hang out in the atmosphere of Civic Park.
PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY
Live performance is best experienced with your own eyes, not through a tiny screen. And while the performers sign up to show off their amazing bodies live on stage, they’ve not signed up to be poorly video and posted all over your social media.
