There’s no doubting the healing properties of a box of chicken nuggets for a hangover. Well now, thanks to Impossible Chicken Nuggets, you can enjoy that nuggy goodness without all the animal cruelty and consumption of flesh.

California-based Impossible Foods say that their Impossible Chicken Nuggets, which will hit shelves in supermarkets in Australia this month, have a crispy golden-brown breading on the outside and a tender, meaty bite on the inside.

In the USA, the nuggets have become the fastest-growing brand of plant-based chicken nuggets after launching just last year.

“Nuggets are one of our newest products,” Tate Connolly, Marketing Manager at Impossible Foods ANZ said.

“We know Aussies are going to love them because they taste great, theyโ€™re convenient and they happen to be better for you and the planet.”

“Theyโ€™re just as easy to prepare as the nugget youโ€™re familiar with, and can be enjoyed as a midday snack or easy dinner for busy families.”

And they reckon they’re easy to cook up too.

You can whack ’em in the oven, air fryer, or (if you must) a microwave.

The nuggets are 100% made from plants, use less water, generate less GHG emissions and are packed with 12.5 grams of protein and 2.8 grams of fibre per serving.
