The Olive Tree will host a very special market in April alongside the Newcastle Writers Festival and The Spiegeltent.

And we hear it’s going to be a big one with Olive Tree organisers pulling out all the stops!

One of the stalls to make its debut at this very special edition of the market will feature contemporary jeweller Alison Aldridge of Pebble Jewellery.

Alison’s handcrafted silver jewellery is crafted from responsibly sourced sterling silver and features hand-cut and polished raw gemstones and natural pearls.

Brooklyn Boy Bagels will also return for the massive market day.

Their delicious range of NY bagels and sweet treats was a huge hit the last time they were in town and this time they’ll also have hot cross buns for Easter!

Launched by Brooklyn-born food journalist Michael Shafran, Brooklyn Boy Bagels produce bagels using the time-worn traditional methods that have made NYC the bagel capital of the world.

Coral and Purl is another stall that will make its debut in the Market.

They’ve got the merino hand-knitted beanies for sale that are the perfect selfish buy as we head into the colder months. The beanies are made of yarn that is hand dyed in small lots using certified biodegradable dyes.

Australian Landscape Photographer, Jared Moxey will also feature his stunning artworks at the Autumn Olive Tree. Jared captures familiar local landscapes and scenery and turns these places into magical, moody and thought-provoking imagery.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

The Olive Tree will host its Autumn Market on Saturday โ€‹1 April from 9 am until 2 pm in Civic Park right next to the Spiegeltent and across the road from the main hub of the Newcastle Writer’s Festival. Visit their Facebook page to find out more.
