7 iconic acts will descend on Camp Shortland this Sunday November 1 for the Live At The Foreshore Festival. In the 1980’s, Newcastle was woven together with a solid live rock music scene and sun drenched weekends at the beach. This weekend, you get to relive that glory.

Remember that it is a 18+ Event. Proof of Age identification will be required and wristbands will be issued for those wishing to purchase alcohol at the event and all those who enter the event.
Getting there
Catching the train or bus?
From Sydney or Maitland, jump on a train and head to Hamilton Station. Our advice is that once you’re there, jump on a bus at the temporary interchange and head to Newcastle Station. From there you can enjoy the walk up to Camp Shortland. Extra ‘Special Event Bus Services’ will be running all day in addition to the standard train services between Hamilton Station and The Foreshore.

Grabbing a taxi?
A taxi rank will be provided adjacent to Newcastle Station on Scott Street where private vehicles can drop off and pickup from before, during and after the event.These will both be located toward the Watt Street intersection along Enterprise Park.
Driving?
There is a ‘Public Set Down Area’ adjacent to Newcastle Station on Scott Street where private vehicles can drop off and pickup from before, during and after the event. These will both be located toward the Watt Street intersection along Enterprise Park.
