Multi-award-winning comedian Urzila Carlson will bring her brand new show to Newcastle next year.
Renowned for her sharp wit and cheeky humour, Urzila will bring her 2025 tour, You Don’t Say, to Newcastle Entertainment Center in August.
“You Don’t Say is a show born out of sarcasm and storytelling from the mind of a woman who might be slightly out of her mind,” Urzila said.
“I cannot wait to tour this show and bring it to your ears!”
Her career, which began in 2008, has seen her win over audiences with her relatable, down-to-earth style and hilarious takes on everyday life.
This new show comes on the heels of a busy few years. In 2024, she voiced the character Honkus in the animated feature film Ozi, starring alongside the likes of Donald Sutherland, Laura Dern, and RuPaul. She’s also set to appear in the Netflix rom-com Kinda Pregnant, featuring an ensemble cast with Amy Schumer and Damon Wayans Junior.
With her comedy star rising internationally, 2025 will also see her embark on her first national tour of the USA and her largest-ever UK tour.
Urzila Carlson will bring her new tour to Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Friday, 15 August 2025. Tickets for the Newcastle show will be available to the public on Wednesday, 2 October 2024, at 2 pm.
