The closure of the Marie Stopes Clinic in August this year left many women facing uncertainty around their options of family planning and termination services.
Local MP, Sonia Hornery says she has had a big win and welcomed a commitment by the NSW Health Minister to pilot a new service model in the Hunter.
She hopes access to affordable termination of pregnancy and contraception services in regional and rural New South Wales will make a difference to those who have been left with few options.
