For 26 years it has been the winery weekend that thousands look forward to and thoroughly enjoy. The chance to visit beautiful vineyards, sample delicious food, find a new favourite vino and have an absolutely brilliant time with your friends.
Yep, Lovedale Long Lunch should have been this very weekend but alas, coronavirus… LLL 2020 was not meant to be.
But never fear, a selection of Lovedale wine makers have band together to offer a stack of specials so that you can put in an on-line order, get wine delivered to your door and organise your very own little Lovedale Long Lunch at home.
WINE SPECIALS
Six Lovedale Long Lunch wineries – Allandale Winery, Emma’s Cottage Vineyard, Gartelmann Wines, Saltire Estate, Tatler Wines and Wadin Valley – are offering specials on the good drop.
We especially love the offers from Tatler (20% off ALL wine with free shipping on orders over $100) and the Lovedale Long Lunch Pack from Allandale includes six bottles and free freight for $125.
FOOD TO MATCH
Ok, that’s the wine sorted but how to replicate those lush Lovedale Long Lunch food pairings? We have a couple of local suggestions that would suit perfectly!
Restaurant Mason are offering a delicious, top-quality takeaway menu – there is online ordering and three-courses are $65.00.
Hunter Valley Semillon and seafood – is there a better combination? The Kingfish at Honeysuckle offer splendid seafood treats, plentiful platters and delivery.
For those looking for something a little more casual for lunch, local fave Newy Burger Co. were booked to be at Saltire this Lovedale Long Lunch and you know you will never regret placing an order with these guys!
Like the Lovedale Long Lunch event organisers say “anytime is wine time”.
