Check out all the show details below.

TOMMY LITTLE: I’M NOT PROUD
Civic Theatre Newcastle
Saturday 20 September

Tommy Little returns to Newcastle with his brand-new stand-up hour I’m Not Proud, and let’s be honest—he’s not here to reflect on the highlights. Instead, fans can expect a hilarious deep dive into the moments that didn’t make the CV.

Known for his cheeky charm and high-octane delivery, Tommy has built a loyal national following both on stage and as co-host of the Carrie & Tommy radio show. With a knack for turning personal disasters into comedy gold, I’m Not Proud promises to be a raucous ride of misadventures and self-deprecating tales that will have the Civic Theatre shaking with laughter.

Fresh off a win at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe, this is a must-see show for fans of honest, fast-paced stand-up that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

WIL ANDERSON: WHATCHU TALKIN’ ‘BOUT WIL?
Newcastle Comedy Club
9–21 September

Get ready for something completely different when Wil Anderson lands at Newcastle Comedy Club this September with Whatchu Talkin’ ‘Bout Wil?, an entirely improvised show that changes night to night.

With no script, no safety net and no repeats, this is comedy made on the fly, crafted live with the audience and gone forever once the lights go down. It’s a rare chance to see Anderson—best known for hosting Gruen, Question Everything and his hugely popular podcasts—completely unfiltered and in the moment.

With a string of People’s Choice and Helpmann Awards under his belt, Wil’s quick wit and razor-sharp mind make this a show you’ll want to book ASAP. Just don’t expect the same experience twice, this is a one-night-only kind of magic, no matter which night you go.

SAM TAUNTON: WORK IN PROGRESS (PROGRESS NOT GUARANTEED)
Newcastle Comedy Club
Saturday 18 October

Fresh from a year off the road, Sam Taunton is back and testing out brand-new material with Work In Progress (Progress Not Guaranteed). Best known for his quick wit on The Project and his reputation for running five minutes late, Taunton is diving headfirst into the first stages of what will become his next touring show.

Expect unfiltered stories, fresh jokes never told on stage before, and even a cheeky Q&A session at the end of the night. True to his playful spirit, Sam’s also promising one lucky audience member a very unusual prize—Grant Denyer’s phone number.

Winner of the prestigious Pinder Prize at the 2019 Melbourne Comedy Festival and praised by The Age for delivering “serendipitous comedy gold,” Sam Taunton’s new work-in-progress promises plenty of laughs, surprises, and a chance to see a new show take shape before it hits the big stages.
