Rock icons Guns N’ Roses will bring their massive World Tour 2026 to McDonald Jones Stadium on Tuesday, 8 December, giving local fans the chance to see one of the biggest bands on the planet right here in the Hunter.

With demand expected to be huge, securing tickets will come down to knowing the presales and getting in fast.

The tour lands in Australia and New Zealand after a huge run across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. It also arrives off the back of two new singles, Atlas and Nothin’, the band’s first fresh material since 2023.

Newcastle is one of only six Australian cities hosting the tour, with support from hard-rock heavyweights Airbourne.

Mastercard cardholders can jump in early with a presale running Monday, 9 March from 1pm until Wednesday, 11 March at 12pm, offering both early access and preferred ticket options.

The Artist Presale, which is open to anyone who signs up, starts Wednesday 11 March at 1pm. No codes are needed; access is tied to your Ticketmaster account, making this one of the most accessible early entry options.

Live Nation members can enter another presale beginning Thursday 12 March at 1pm and closing Friday 13 March at 12pm.

Westfield members also receive access to reserved tickets from Thursday 12 March at 1pm. With multiple presales overlapping, fans have several chances to secure seats before they officially go on sale.

General public tickets for the Newcastle show go on sale Friday, 13 March at 1 pm via livenation.com.au. VIP options, presale registrations and full tour details are also available through Live Nation. This will be one of the biggest rock shows of the year, and the countdown to December starts now.
