Want to play Groovin’ the Moo Maitland? Ask us how!

Triple j is on the hunt for an artist to kick off the 2016 Groovin’ the Moo in Maitland. The Unearthed Groovin the Moo competition is now open to local acts who think they’ve got what it takes to open one of Australia’s most loved and successful festivals that hits Maitland on Saturday April 23.

For your chance to play alongside the likes of Alison Wonderland, The Rubens & Danny Brown all you need to do is uploaded your music to the Unearthed website by February 28 (#protip – make sure your postcode is correct!).

Last year Newy band, Yours Alone took out the highly contested spot. They played to a modest crowd of early festival goers in 2015 and picked up some fans with their high energy, punk attitudes.
