The Valley Estate Agents Charity Ball will return to Maitland later this year, bringing together the Hunter community for an evening of entertainment, fundraising and celebration in support of the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
The second annual event will be held at Maitland Town Hall on Friday, 28 August.
Hosted by Valley Estate Agents, the charity ball will feature entertainment from Timberlina, along with canapés and drinks on arrival, a two-course meal, beverages and a live charity auction packed with prizes.
Proceeds from the evening will help the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation continue providing essential support and information for people across the Hunter who have been diagnosed with or are undergoing treatment for breast cancer, as well as their families.
The event follows the success of the inaugural Charity Ball in 2025, which raised $20,000 for the foundation.
“Over the past few years, Valley Estate Agents has grown from strength to strength thanks to the support of our loyal clients right across the Hunter Valley,” Managing Director of Valley Estate Agents, Sophie Abela said.
“We’re proud to give back to the community that has given us so much by launching our own yearly Valley Estate Agents Charity Ball.”
Tickets are available as either individual seats or tables of 10, making the event suitable for families, friendship groups, community organisations and businesses. Single tickets are priced at $175 ($180.55 including the online booking fee), while a table of 10 costs $1,575 ($1,608.55 including the online fee).
A portion of every ticket sold, along with all donations received during the evening, will go directly to the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation to help fund its ongoing services across the region.
Breast cancer continues to affect thousands of Australians each year. According to the figures provided by organisers, more than 20,000 Australians are diagnosed annually, with breast cancer remaining the most common cancer diagnosed in Australian women. Organisers say growing diagnosis rates highlight the importance of supporting services that provide practical assistance and care to local families affected by the disease.
