The annual Underground Disco will once again welcome in the new year at The Grand Hotel in Newcastle.
With a reputation as one of Newcastle’s most reliable end-of-year dancefloors, this year’s party promises to be bigger, bolder and louder as it grooves its way into 2026.
Once again, resident selectors DJ Tone and Disco Dan will lead the charge, digging deep into five decades of funk, soul, disco and boogie.
Known for their all-vinyl approach and encyclopaedic collections, the pair have built Underground Disco around rare cuts, timeless classics and dancefloor staples drawn from across the globe.
This year’s edition expands across two levels of The Grand, with a stacked lineup of guest DJs joining the residents to elevate the late-night experience. And while the event may be expanding, the vinyl-only ethos remains central, with the Underground Disco crew widely regarded for curating one of the country’s standout collections of soul, funk, disco, boogie and jazz-funk.
Running from 8 pm through to 2 am, the event invites partygoers to dress up, sparkle and settle in for a marathon of feel-good grooves.
