Under The Southern Stars will bring the first music festival featuring international artists to the Hunter since the pandemic shut down the industry in 20220.
The festival, featuring rock royalty, Cheap Trick, global superstars, Bush and the legendary Stone Temple Pilots, Rose Tattoo and Electric Mary will hit Maitland Showground in March.
“It has been way too long,” said festival promoter, Andrew McManus.
Artists on the lineup, and their crew, have been granted approval to enter Australia under strict covid guidelines including the members of recently added act, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
“To say weโre excited by finally being able to announce Black Rebel Motorcycle Club as a new addition and fourth high profile international rock band joining our already stellar line-up is an understatement,” said McManus.
All tickets that were purchased before the festival was postponed are valid for the new shows, and additional tickets are now on sale.
“Under The Southern Stars will without a doubt rock audiences to the core and give them what theyโve all craved since March 2020. A line up that features the bands and the music they love โ both Australian and International artists up in front of them in the flesh and playing their hits, live.”
