Local rocker, Ty Penshorn has released the first single from his long awaited debut album due for release this summer. The song is called, Set Me On Fire and the video clip features a cameo from local songstress, Holly Wilson.
Ty has previously penned 3 top ten hits in the Australian charts, and has featured as voice talent in numerous TV and radio jingles.
Throughout his music career Ty has opened for many top touring acts including Mick Jagger, Midnight Oil, The Divinyls, Hoodoo Gurus, Baby Animals, Carol King, INXS and many more, and has performed in the USA, Europe, Asia and in the Middle East. In February ‘05, Ty’s group “The Humm” debut in the ARIA Australian national singles charts at no.37 with the song, rose coloured glass; and more recently took out rock and folk categories at the ABC music awards.
Suffice to say, we’re really looking forward to the album.
