If you haven’t been jamming repeat on Turpentine Babycino’s single Write A Song Sounds Shit, you’re not living Barry.

And now you can get your fix in a visual format with the release of the song’s music video.

The song features some tight grooves from drummer Gabriel Argiris and a great pop vocal from singer Georgie Winchester.

Recorded at The Grove Studios with work from another local artist Chloe Gill on the production.

“Write A Song Sounds Shitโ€™ is that shitty break-up song that nobodyโ€™s supposed to hear, except people will this time,” the band said.

“Big parties, loud music, long nights and writing shitty break-up songs are often on the cards to help โ€˜forgetโ€™ about an ex. As a songwriter, itโ€™s easy to dismiss a great song due to self-doubt and judgment and after a breakup, these insecurities are heightened.”

Turpentine Babycino will celebrate the release of the song with a gig at the Hamilton Station Hotel on Sunday 16 October.
