Toronto for Tracey

The Toronto community lost a very important member recently. Tracey Walpole had a strong voice amongst her peers that will now be sorely missed.  Toronto Workers club will host a benefit for her family on July 30.

Some of Tracey’s roles were, Vice President with the Mankillikan LAECG, a delegate to the Hunter Region and a member of the Westlakes NAIDOC Planning Committee where she is famous for her solo dancing in the rain skills in her just as infamous rain boots. Her community voice will be severely missed in many areas especially education and considerably so at Fennell Bay Public school and Toronto High School where her role was that of Aboriginal Education Officer (AEO) for many years.

Organizers are encouraging the local community to support her family as she supported the community.
