Tooheys Brewery is bringing back Tooheys Extra Dry Platinum in its original 6.5% ABV form. But you’ll need to be in the know to get your hands on it.
That’s because supply of the retro brew is only available through a “mysterious and covert” operation, known as the Tooheys Black Market.
The good news for Newcastle beer lovers is that one of the Black Market locations has popped up in Newcastle.
To find out how you can get access to the sought-after brew you’ll need to head to platinumlogisticsnsw.com.
But there’s a catch – the info will only show if your browser is in incognito mode.
Once there you’ll find instructions and location coordinates for the secret Black Market spot in Newcastle and a code word you’ll need once you’re there.
It’s a bit of a treasure hunt, but if you’re keen to taste some of that sweet sweet 6.5 TED Platinum goodness it will be well worth it.
