After a decade of energising stages around Newcastle and the Hunter, seasoned performer Tim Harding is taking his final bow at Tim’s Last Hurrah ahead of his move to the UK with his family.

As one of the city’s most dynamic and passionate live performers, Tim wants to take the opportunity to jam one last time with the other local musicians and audiences who have made his time here so special.

Tim’s musical journey spans over two decades, from his early days as one of the original members of the beloved children’s group Hi-5 to an impressive international career.

After collecting a string of accolades, including five ARIA Awards, three Logies, and a Helpmann, Tim took his talents to the UK in 2009.

There, he took on the role of singer and guitarist in the celebrated MJ Timeless tribute show, even sharing the stage with stars like Robbie Williams during the famous Blackpool Illuminations.

His UK stint also saw him fronting Manchester rock band Pangaea, whose self-titled album dropped in 2012, before eventually returning to Australian shores in 2013.

Since then, Tim has become a familiar face in Newcastle’s live music circuit, both as a captivating soloist and as the charismatic lead of funk and soul outfit Soultraders. His performances have consistently delivered powerhouse vocals, heartfelt energy, and a deep connection with audiences.

Now, after years of giving his all to crowds across the city, Tim is saying goodbye to the Newcastle stage. Tim’s Last Hurrah promises to be a celebration of everything he’s brought to the local scene and a chance for fans, friends, and fellow musos to send him off in true style.

The Stag and Hunter Hotel in Mayfield will host Tim Harding’s farewell show, Tim’s Last Hurrah, on Monday, 28 April, 2025 at 8PM.
