Shakya Jangchup from Tibetan Little Stove will be serving up lashings of incredible Tibetan at next month’s Olive Tree Market in Civic Park.
The dishes Shakya has been serving up at local markets and events since 2019 pay homage to his past. He was born in Tibet but moved to India with his parents as a child.
Every plate he serves up is an experiment with different ingredients that embody the culinary influences of Shakya’s family and it all tastes like joy.
One of the other trade makes of Tibetan Little Stove is the aesthetically pleasing way the food is plated.
It’s this trade mark, coupled with healthy vegan and gluten-free food options, that keeps Shakya’s customers returning over and over again.
Augusts Olive Tree Market will also showcase medicinal cacao offerings from cacao alchemist Frido Cacao, boutique artisan furniture from Ryan Gilligan and handmade porcelain tableware made by Louise M Studio.
Market-goers are also invited to wrap up in a blanket in the cosy community area to listen to a selection of local musicians.
