Newcastle is about to feel the full force of Australia’s extreme metal juggernaut as Thy Art Is Murder brings their Brutality Across Australia tour to the King St Bandroom in July.
The band’s only Newcastle stop on the massive 16-date regional run promises a night of unrelenting heaviness, showcasing their latest album Godlike in all its chaotic glory.
Renowned for their punishing riffs, visceral energy and no-holds-barred live shows, Thy Art Is Murder have carved a name for themselves as one of the leading forces in extreme metal, both in Australia and globally.
Fresh from international tours across Latin America and Asia, the band is now turning their attention to regional Australia, giving local fans the chance to witness the chaos up close before they head off to Europe with Parkway Drive.
Joining them in Newcastle will be Melbourne’s Mélancolia, the rising stars of melodic blackened deathcore. Also on the lineup is the East Coast outfit Hate Complex, which features members of well-known heavy acts and is already gaining traction with a string of savage singles.
Rounding out the bill is Annihilist, adding another layer of sonic devastation to an already stacked lineup.
Thy Art Is Murder will bring their Brutality Across Australia tour to King St Bandroom on Wednesday, 9 July 2025. Tickets go on sale Thursday, 24 April 2025 via thyartismurder.net. With a lineup this fierce and a reputation for sell-outs, those keen to be part of the carnage should act fast.
