Thrashville is back with a vengeance, bringing its biggest lineup ever in its six-year history including festival headliners COG.
It seems that after weathering cancellations and determined reschedules, Dashville’s slightly heavier festival is ready to make a bold statement with this lineup announcement.
While the heavyweight progressive rock trio COG are set to deliver an unforgettable performance, this bill is stacked higher than a tower of empty tinnies in the back shed after a public holiday.
Funk punk juggernaut, Mammal will take the stage as the headliner on Friday night and promise to deliver one of the most memorable sets in Thrashville history.
โThrashville is the kind of festival that every band wants to play. The perfect blend of hospitality and stadium production. Mammal will be playing never before heard tracks from their new album in their set, bring your dancing pants,” Mammal frontman, Ezekiel Ox said.
Other acts on the bill include Melbourne’s proto-punks Civic, local legends Dust, Sydney experimentalists Shady Nasty, garage rockers Crocodylus, femme soul punkers Downgirl, and emerging indigenous act Wildheart.
For the uninitiated, Thrashville is a two-day festival set against the backdrop of lush bushland at Dashville in the Hunter Valley. The event is a haven for fans of punk, hard rock, heavy metal, and everything in between. The event also boasts an array of cool experiences, including live tattooing, graffiti art, and pro-skateboarding displays.
Thrashville 2023 is happening on the 8th and 9th of September. You can check out the full bill (with more acts to be announced) for the two-day festival below. Visit dashville.com.au/thrashville/ for more info.
