This That’s Justin Nyker to speak at Newcastle Music Conference

Justin Nyker from Mothership Events will speak at a Music Industry Conference in Newcastle later this month.

Justin’s event credentials include This That, Scene and Heard Festivals, Vivid and Mardi Gras. Justin will speak about his experience in the music industry and take questions and give career advice.

The conference will be held at Atwea College on Beaumont Street in Hamilton and is open to students and members of the public who want to gain a better insight into careers in the music industry.

Other speakers include our very own Dan Beazley from Newcastle Live, Marcus Wright from Big Apachee, Steven Pickett from EAO Entertainment, Grant Walmsley from The Screaming Jets and many more.

With an emphasis on networking between Industry Professionals and emerging creatives, organisers say they hope the event gives attendees a jumpstart for a career in the entertainment industry. Interacting with the panels and speakers on the day will also give ticket holders a chance to meet like-minded people in the local industry.

Hosted at Atwea Colleges Creative Arts Space, the event runs from 9:00am-3:00pm on Thursday 26th September.
