Hold on to those tickets, punters. THIS THAT, one of Newcastle’s most loved music festivals, has announced a rescheduled date for their 2022 event.
Originally set to take over Wickham Park on Saturday, 26 February, ticket holders were sceptical of cancellation following a statement made by THIS THAT organisers last week after COVID restrictions were extended across NSW.
But rest assured THIS THAT is forging ahead, crashing into Newcastle just a fortnight on from the original date on Saturday 12 March.
The full original line-up is confirmed for the rescheduled date, except for Sydney garage rock duo Polish Club.
While that’s a total bummer, organisers say that festival-goers should expect some lineup additions to add to the already huge lineup including Hayden James, WHAT SO NOT, Client Liaison, Dune Rats and Jack River.
All tickets purchased for the original Newcastle date are automatically valid for the new 12 March date and a one-week refund window will open from 9am AEDT on Monday 7th February via Oztix for people who can’t make it.
