Brooding Canadian rockers The Tea Party are winging their way back to Newcastle as part of their Australian Black River tour.

No strangers to this neck of the woods, the band – Jeff Martin, Jeff Burrows and Stuart Chatwood, are on the road promoting their latest single Black River and anyone who has been to a Tea Party show knows it is an experience sure to live long in the memory.

Aside from Black River, the band have not released any new material since their 2014 long player The Ocean At The End, but they certainly havent been resting on their laurels in the live sense.

The band were last on our shores back in 2017 for tour, which sadly missed Newcastle, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking album Transmission, while frontman Jeff martin dropped by Newy on his mammoth 2018 Australian run of dates.

The one constant at a Tea Party show is how deeply Jeff Martin, Jeff Burrows and Stuart Chatwood connect with their audience, you really feel; not just hear them during their performances and this time around, fans can join the trio on a journey exploring their vast catalogue.

The Tea Party will play at NEX Newcastle on Wednesday 26 June
