The Screaming Jets are hitting the track for a hometown show at Newcastle Racecourse this November.
Part of the band’s Life Blood tour, the show will headline the region’s most prestigious race day featuring The Hunter’s very own $1 million race.
“You don’t get more perfect than two iconic things together, The Screaming Jets and Newcastle Racecourse,” frontman, Dave Gleeson said.
“Come along, have a punt, enjoy a day at the races and see the Screaming Jets go off.”
There are a number of ticket options available from general admission to more VIP experiences, and Hunter favourites, Hot Potato Band will also perform on the day.
“The Screaming Jets, like the Newcastle Racecourse, are deeply rooted in The Hunter and Newcastle,” Newcastle Racecourse CEO, Duane Dowell said.
“The band members are considered local legends and have become a part of Newcastle’s identity. Their ability to resonate with the people of our town provides the perfect atmosphere for The Hunter, which is Newcastle Racecourse and our region’s most significant racing event for the year.”
