Since the official launch of the new look Shoal Bay Country Club, the new owners have been bringing some of the music industry’s biggest names to town. Just in the next two months, Shoal Bay Country Club will host Aussie heavyweights, The Angels & Dragon, every larrikin’s favourite son, Shannon Noll and the world famous touring band, The Animals.

After two massive tours traversing Australia, Dragon are on the road again!This time Dragon are celebrating 80s UK Chartbusters..
What started as The Countdown Years, paying homage to the television show in 2016, grew into the ‘Aussie edition’ in 2017, and saw Dragon play more than 50 Countdown-inspired shows over the past two years.
Classic hits from bands like Queen, Tears for Fears, The Police, Madness and Duran Duran are just some of those that have made it onto the setlist for the tour. Of course, in any Dragon show, no set-list would be complete without the band’s own chart-toppers, and the 80s UK Chartbusters tour will also feature the best of Dragon. Audiences can expect smash hits such as April Sun in Cuba, Rain, Young Years, Still in Love, Dreams of Ordinary Men and Are You Old Enough to name a few.

The Angels bring their Face II Face 40 tour to Shoal Bay Country Club!
The Face II Face tour will feature the album in its entirety as well as other classic Angels hits. Rick says tracks like Straightjacket, Outcast, Love Takes Care and Live It Up, that don’t often make it into the live set, will be a highpoint for the band and the audience.
With the run of dates so far in 2018, audiences have been delighting in the chance to walk down memory lane and re- live the original spirit that was behind the Face To Face album. Rick says the feedback the band has been receiving at shows has been overwhelming. “The comment I keep hearing goes something like, ‘I could close my eyes and it was like being at home listening to my favourite album turned up to eleven’.”
