Wickham waterfront venue, Pier Ninety Seven, is turning Sunday afternoons into a ritual of slowing down, catching up, and easing into the week ahead.

The Sunday Reset has struck a chord with locals searching for a gentler way to close out the weekend with an experience that unfolds from midday every Sunday, pairing the natural charm of the harbour with a relaxed, design-led setting.

Live music sits at the heart of the weekly gathering, with local acoustic and indie artists shaping the soundtrack as friends get together for catch-ups over handcrafted cocktails, shared plates and a bespoke selection of beer and wine. And it’s the perfect atmosphere for anyone looking for favours, conversation and connection over chaos.

Owner Jake Chatfield says the idea behind Sunday Resets came from a simple desire to create space in a world that doesnโ€™t slow down often enough.

“Sunday Resets are about slowing down and making space for what matters โ€” time with family, time with friends, and time for yourself,” Owner of Pier Ninety Seven, Jake said.

“We wanted to create something that feels intentional yet relaxed โ€” the kind of Sunday that leaves you refreshed instead of rushed.”

Across the afternoon, you can expect rotating seasonal cocktails, spritz-style refreshments, and a menu tailored for grazing, including comfort-forward bites designed to be shared around the table.

When you pair that up with some pretty stunning harbour views and a steady stream of laid-back live music, the whole thing delivers an easygoing finish to the week.

Sunday Resets take place every Sunday from 12pm at Pier Ninety Seven, located at 97 Hannell Street in Wickham. Bookings are encouraged, though walk-ins are always welcome. Visit pierninetyseven.com.au to find out more.
