After creeping us out for over six months on Newcastle Live Radio, we’re excited to announce the release of Anne and Renata’s Spooky Sundays’ Podcast.
And while many of you have tuned in regularly at 8pm on Sunday nights to hear Anne and Renata present Spooky Sundays live, the launch of the podcast makes it easier for everyone to listen whenever they like.
For the uninitiated, Anne Rzechowicz and Renata Daniel have been investigating paranormal occurrences for the past twenty years. And since that time they’ve fostered a legion of fans and have been featured on every major television and radio network in the country.
On the Spooky Sundays show, the dynamic and hilarious duo offer a weekly wrap up of everything paranormal, supernatural and mystical. They offer tarot readings, explore haunted objects and reveal the truth behind weird and bizarre happenings.
“What we are doing is looking at paranormal stories throughout the world – strange and weird things that seem to happen,” Anne told Newcastle Live back when the program launched.
“Basically we’re looking at all things ooky spooky that are in our mundane world while hopefully taking a little bit of the fear out of what’s out there and putting a bit more knowledge into it.”
And Anne and Renata aren’t simply a pair of demon-spotting dilettantes whose experience of ‘the other side’ extends to multiple viewings of Paranormal Activity.
In 2020, the pair sent shivers down the spine of popular radio host Jackie O Henderson when they discovered a ghostly girl called Veronica living in Jackie’s recently purchased $11 million Woolarha mansion.
