Bimbadgen’s sibling property, Emma’s Cottage will mark the start of spring with Songbirds and Semillon – A celebration of music and wine this September.
Songbirds and Semillon promise a day of relaxation on the lawn with five exceptional local female artists and plenty of beautiful Hunter Valley wine.
The lineup boasts an impressive array of talent including headliner, and award-winning country artist, Max Jackson.
Chloe Gill will kick off the bill that also includes the amazing Anna Weatherup, Piper Butcher and Amy Vee.
Contrasting their large-scale A Day on the Green concert series, the Bimbadgen team has crafted Songbirds and Semillon as an intimate affair, aligning with the cozy ambience of Emma’s Cottage.
“We are thrilled to bring together five fabulous female singers from the Hunter to celebrate springtime in true Hunter style, with some great alfresco food and wine amongst the vineyards. At Emma’s Cottage the hills really will be alive with the sound of music this spring,” Mulpha’s General Manager of Hospitality, Belinda Stapleton said.
Organisers of the event also promise a lineup of exquisite Semillons crafted by Bimbadgen’s award-winning winemaker Richard Done. A selection of Alter Wines, beers, and spirits will also be available for purchase.
Music lovers will have the choice of indulging in on-site catering or enjoying their own picnics. Emma’s Cottage Hampers, for two, can also be pre-ordered for the event.
Songbirds and Semillon is happening at Emma’s Cottage on Sunday 10 September 2023 from 11 am to 4 pm. For more info and tickets visit eventbrite.com.au.
