More children and adolescents used hospital mental health services in NSW following the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown than in the years prior to the pandemic, research into paediatric hospital services has shown.
Meg Linton, from Watch Ya Language, told Newcastle Live Radio that not only did the number of children accessing mental health rise, but they stayed elevated.
Meg has been on the journey of self-esteem, gratitude and body dysmorphia for many decades and believes social media and photo editing is to blame for a lot of mental health issues.
