ICE ICE BABY: Snow Time in the Garden hits the Hunter for School Holiday action

Hunter Valley Gardens will once again transform into a winter wonderland with the return of their coolest annual event, Snow Time in the Garden.

Kicking off on Saturday 25 June and running through until Sunday 24 July, Snow Time in the Garden is the perfect activity for both the adventurous and more sage members of the family.

The ice-skating rink, with a dedicated section for the little ones, is back. The 45-metre-long Ice Toboggan slope will be beckoning adrenaline seekers and the man-made Snow Play Zone will be ready for snow angels and snowball action.

“This event is a more immersive experience than ever,” Amanda Andrews, Event Manager at Hunter Valley Gardens said

“With a range of activities for young and young-hearted, including the bobby seals for junior skaters, aged 6 and under, and Snow Play Zone, guests will feel truly transported to the Antarctic.”

Five of Hunter Valley Garden’s most loved rides will also be open during Snow Time.

The traditional Venetian Carousel, 25m Ferris wheel, super speedy Swing Chair, the thrilling Superslide and the twisty Teacups will all be ready for thrill-seeking action. Ride tokens are $5 each or 6 for $25.

Toasty beverages and hearty winter food will also be on sale to help keep you toasty and warm and embrace the winter spirit.
