A long time advocate and agitator for a Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide, Federal Member for Newcastle Sharon Claydon has welcomed the long-awaited start.
๏ปฟ๏ปฟThe Royal Commission will inquire into systemic issues and common themes related to defence and veteran death by suicide, including the possible contribution of pre-service, service, transition, separation and post-service issues, and other matters believed by the Royal Commission to be relevant to its inquiry.
The daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, this is a topic that has been very closer to the heart of Ms Claydon and she joined Newcastle in the Morning to expand on the Royal Commission.
