It’s one of the jewels in Newcastle’s glistening crown. And now your opinion is being sought on how to make the Honeysuckle precinct even better.
The Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) is in the process of transforming parcels of land at the western end of Honeysuckle Drive at Wickham and is inviting community members to join the conversation about the future use and function of that section of the precinct.
Any and all suggestions are on the table and HCCDC is particularly keen to hear about initiatives that encourage positive environmental, social and economic outcomes for the development sites and surrounds.
All ideas and feedback through the consultation process will be combined to find common themes that will help guide future development of the site.
You will also be invited to take part in survey about what you think makes a thriving space in a city.
So, if you’ve got a killer idea or vision got Honeysuckle’s future, don’t keep it to yourself.
Head here to have your say now. You can also email your suggestions to honeysuckleideas@maraconsulting.com.au or phone 4965 4317.
Submissions are open until Sunday 18 October.
