Operation IBIS, Deadshowws and local bands Miruthan and Wayward Kings have all been added to the bill for Thrashville 2023.
In its sixth year, Thrashville is pulling out all the stops with its biggest lineup yet with Friday night headliners Mammal and progressive rock three-piece, COG topping the bill on Saturday.
With both acts hinting at new music releases in this year, live music lovers should expect fresh tunes from these two powerhouses of Australian music.
True to its reputation, Thrashville is known for its diverse and eclectic programming that spans across various styles and genres. This year is no exception, as the festival promises an impressive lineup of established and emerging acts from all corners of Australia and some from our own backyard.
New additions to the lineup, Wayward Kings have become one of the must-see acts in Newcastle with their sonically blistering live shows and a swag of tunes that seem to just keep getting better and better with each release.
Another local act on the bill, dust has been taking the world by storm over the last couple of years with their invigorating new take on Australian post-punk.
This year’s lineup will go a long way to cement Thrashville’s mission to contribute positively to the ever-evolving heavy music scene both for artists and festival-goers.
Since its inception in 2017, Thrashville has quickly become a pilgrimage for the heavy music community. The festival’s commitment to providing a safe and inclusive space for all forms of heavy music has garnered immense support from the passionate and engaged community.
Set times for both days have been released and can be found here. Thrashville will take over the camp and festival grounds at Dashville on the 8th and 9th of September 2023. For tickets and festival information visit dashville.com.au/thrashville.
