The Great Aussie Bird Count is back for 2021 and Sean Dooley from Birdlife Australia says it’s a great way to connect with wildlife no matter where you live.
You can take part in the count on a suburban street, in your backyard, at a local park, a patch of bush near your house or even down by the beach.
Sean dropped into Newcastle in the Morning to tell us why the October count is an has become such an important initative.
