SAVE THE DATE: Good Times are set to roll again in Newcastle

A veritable cavalcade of Oz music icons is headed our way this June when the ever-popular APIA Good Times Tour rolls into town.

Hitting the Civic Theatre stage on Friday 4 June, this year’s run promises to be the biggest and best yet after the tour was forced off the road in 2020.

Reading like a literal who’s who of Oz music royalty, the 2020 line-up has pulled out all the stops with the likes of Brian Cadd, Deborah Conway, Joe Camilleri, John Paul Young, Kate Ceberano, Leo Sayer, Vika & Linda and, making her Good Times debut, the one and only Wendy Matthews.

When you’ve assembled a lineup as impressive as this, it’s pretty much a free kick to assume that what you’re going to hear are some of the biggest and best-loved songs in Oz popular music history.

This is one line-up that has an eye-watering array of hits to draw upon such as Ginger Man, A Little Ray of Sunshine, Man Overboard, It’s Only The Beginning, Harley & Rose, Chained To The Wheel, I Hate The Music, Love Is In The Air, Bedroom Eyes, Pash, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, Thunder In My Heart, Never Let Me Go, The Day You Went Away, and Let’s Kiss to name but a few.

Now in its eighth year, The APIA Good Times tour offers a unique opportunity to see some of Australia’s biggest music stars perform their most loved hits and share the stage and songs with one another on a rollicking rock-n-roll rollercoaster like no other.

The APIA Good Times tour will hit the Civic Theatre on Friday 4 June. Get your tickets here.
