Save Live Entertainment At The Beaches Hotel

Our cousins in Wollongong need help to fight an Anti Live Entertainment Committee set up to rid it of live music. The Beaches Hotel in Thirroul (Wollongong) is the home of Acoustic Friday nights, Rockin’ Saturday sets and Soulful blues Sundays. But this legendary establishment, whom many artists call home, is under threat by local residents fighting to have The Beaches Hotel Thirroul cease all live music entertainment from its premises. This establishment has been the home to live music since the early 80’s and has showcased many talented and well-known artists:Brian Cadd, Richard Clapton, The Radiators, Mental As Anything, Daryl Braithwaite, Diana Rouvas, Simon Meli, Damien Leith, Angry Anderson to name but a few

The Beaches Hotel Thirroul is a family run business, deeply passionate about providing live music entertainment and support for the local community; all done through the compliance of the current NSW Legislation and Hotel’s Liquor License laws. Wollongong should have a number of places available for musicians of all genres to play and express their craft. Living in an ever increasing digital world, it is becoming more and more imperative that we are able to go to a licensed establishment and enjoy the music scene in a live environment.
