The hardworking team of pastry chefs and bakers at the Sara Lee Corporation have really outdone themselves this time.
Just when you thought the whole Caramilk craze was over, Sara Lee go and announce a collaboration with Cadbury to pump out boxes of these Caramilk Mousse cakes.
If you’re still sticking to your Febfast, this release is likely to bring you totally unstuck.
And sure, there are plenty of recipes online to make something similar (like this Caramilk Mousse Roll), but this is Sara Lee we’re talking about here… The makers of all the best back of the freezer desserts.
We’re told the cake boasts a crumbly biscuit base with a mousse layer made from Caramilk above it.
And if that wasn’t enough to get you into the supermarket, they top the whole shebang off with Caramilk sauce and sprinkles of Caramilk chocolate.
Reports say that these little babies will cost you about ten bucks and will start hitting freezers at Coles from 12 February.
