I’ve always been incredibly envious, of anyone who can truly capture the world. As much as I love words, sometimes they will only take you so far (don’t tell words I said that). But photographs, man I swear sometimes they can move mountains. In the age where more photographs have been taken since the invention of the iPhone, than have been taken ever,ย I think sometimes the artistry of the whole thing gets lost in the void.

But sometimes a photographer like Renae Saxby comes along who is so intent on capturing the world around her, that you’re literally, lost for words. Her collection features “countries such as Nepal, India, Morocco, Cambodia and Turkey and (Renae) intimately explores the landscapes and the beauty of the people that call these culturally unique places home”.ย

Now not everyone can jetset and see the world, as much as we would all love to. But thankfully you can experience Renae’s collection right here at home when she exhibits her work at the Edwards on the 14th of July. Is there any better way to spend a winter evening? Probably not.

All images will be available for purchase on the night with a percentage of the sales going to Renaeโ€™s humanitarian project ‘Footprints in Nepal’ which is in loving memory of her brother, Daniel.

All photos featured, are by Renae Saxby, you can see more of her work – here
