RAW’s sold out August OVATION event in Newcastle reminded us once again why it’s one of the most important cultural events happening in the city. We joined a 300+ strong crowd that made its way through the gates at 48 Watt Street to engage with more than 25 hand-selected emerging artists across fashion, music, visual art, photography, performing art, hair and makeup.

RAW is all about showcasing Australia’s best-emerging creatives.
Its mission is to serve independent artists with tools, resources, education and exposure needed to thrive and succeed in their creative careers. Their events are a fun and alternative way for creatives to showcase both to their local community and the world-at-large.
