Well, those burger boffins over at Rascal have done it again.
The popular Newcastle and Charlestown eatery’s latest burger special is a colossal culinary concoction that pays homage to a certain Colonel and his stacked burg creation.
Dubbed ‘The Schtakka’, this gravity-defying burger mountain is perfect fare for snakes and any humans able to willingly dislocate their jaw and could easily have been called the Schtonka.
Chicken is the hero here and the chook on the Schtakka is so nice they fried it twice and added double cheese (of course) Rascal’s own ‘supercharger sauce’ for a bit of kick to the heft, tomato chilli relish, bacon, onions, pickles and some good old iceberg lettuce.
Newy burger hounds were sent into paroxysms of salivation and exclamation when Rascal announced this concoction on social media this week.
One enthusiastic fan summed up this hunger buster perfectly with a succinct: “This is ridiculous. I want it.”
Others however were just keen to throw soem low key shade at out of town mates who are unabel to sample this burger behemoth.
“Imagine how you would feel if you lived in a shitty city and state and couldn’t get this for lunch],” one commenter quipped.
The Schtakka is only available this week so dislocate that jaw and head into Rascal ASAP!
