RASCAL: A new burger challenger appears in Newcastle

Hatted chefs serving up burgers right here in Newcastle… Now that sounds like something we’d be interesting in.

The chefs behind Newcastle’s newest burger joint, Rascal (located on the ground floor at 1/266 King Street) promise three things; Burgers. Chicken. Anarchy….

To achieve this, the team have their own butcher personally sourcing the best produce like Bannockburn free range chicken, Jack’s Creek Wagyu, Angus beef, and McClure’s pickles. The menu features house made everything, including Rascal’s very own sauces and condiments.

We popped in for lunch and weren’t disappointed. Our tightly wrapped cheese burgers with mouth watering beef and a sauce that tasted like a party in our mouths, went down too easily. Put it this way, we’ll be back – #weekendgoals.

Rascal is open from 11am – 4pm Monday to Tuesday and 11am – 9pm Wednesday to Sunday.
