Newcastle Food Month will once again shine the light on local culinary delights this April.
The event, which will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year, is scheduled to take over the city from 1 April to 30 April, taking advantage of Easter, Anzac Day long weekends, and school holidays.
Newcastle Food Month 2025 will deliver the festival’s biggest program yet, featuring more than 100 local businesses and drawing visitors from across the state.
โIt was always our aim to create what will become known as the most significant regional Food Festival in New South Wales, and we can pretty confidently say that as we approach year 5 of Newcastle Food Month, that we will achieve this.” Event organiser, Louise Maher said.
Notable names in Newcastleโs dining scene, such as the Roundhouse at Crystalbrook Kingsley, The Flotilla, Humbug, and Foghorn Brewery, will feature prominently in the program alongside emerging venues from the cityโs suburban neighbourhoods.
The festival’s popular Plate Date series will also return, offering diners the chance to enjoy a meal with a beverage for just $30 at over 50 participating cafes, restaurants, and pubs.
The 2025 Newcastle Food Month program will be unveiled in February. For more information visit newcastlefoodmonth.com.au.
