16 years ago, three-time ARIA-winning musician Yaron Hallis opened legendary underground Sydney venue Qirkz. It was followed by Camelot Lounge 4 years later, which has since become Sydney’s premiere intimate music venue.
As both musician and venue operator, Yaron observed that there was no dedicated music venue in the Lower Hunter Valley and he decided to reform the 110-year-old Denman Hotel in Abermain to Qirkz in the Hunter and give it a completely new life.
