Pit set to rock Newcastle Live Temple of the Stag Takeover

Local band, PIT will take to the stage as special guests of the Newcastle Live Temple of the Stag Takeover on Monday night.

The three-piece has been making a name for themselves as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Newcastle with their grunge-inspired tunes and energetic live shows.

Since kicking off a few years ago the band have been working hard on honing their sound and clocking up a stack of gigs. That hard work and dedication have earned them a spot on the Sounds From Newy & The Hunter Vi-Nil Records compilation alongside other local acts like Tyrants, Goon Gremlins, Elestial, Lemon Joe and Butterknife.

With more special guests to be announced, the takeover is already stacked with a killer lineup of Newcastle’s favourite musicians including the house band featuring Justin Ngariki, Matt Semmens, Sam Madden, and Scotty Bulger.

Newcastle Live’s own Bonnie Anne and Dan Beazley will host the night, giving away a stack of merch and performing a special duet.

The Newcastle Live Temple of the Stag Takeover is happening this Monday, 1 July, at the Stag and Hunter Hotel in Mayfield. For more information check out the gig guide listing here.
