After being forced to postpone a visit to Newcastle in 2020, the insanely popular PAW Patrol Live! “Race To The Rescue” is making its. way to the Newcastle Entertainment Centre this May for three special shows.
Based on the hit Nickelodeon animated TV series, this show brings everybody’s favourite pups back to the stage for an action-packed, high-energy, musical adventure where they come to the rescue when Mayor Goodway goes missing during the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race.
Featuring a cast of everybody’s favourite PAW Patrol characters, PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue” shows that ‘no job is too big, no pup is too small’.
It also shares lessons for all ages about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as the characters each use their unique skills and teamwork.
The show also engages audiences with Bunraku puppetry, an innovative costuming approach that brings the PAW Patrol characters to life on stage, along with
their vehicles and packs.
“After such a challenging year for theatrical shows worldwide, we are thrilled that our heroic pups will be returning to stages across Australia in 2021,” Thomas
Kingsley, Director, Nickelodeon Experience said.
“PAW Patrol Live! will once again deliver a memorable family experience, as audiences work together to help Ryder and his team of pups save the day.”
For the uninitiated, the show is based on the massively popular Canadian CGI-animation series that follows the adventures of a young boy named Ryder who leads a crew of search and rescue dogs who call themselves PAW Patrol.
These helpful pooches work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure Bay.
