Choose Your Cruise has unveiled the full bill for the second instalment of its heavy-music seafaring festival, Hellbound II, locking in Parkway Drive at the top of a stacked roster.

The Amity Affliction, Alpha Wolf, I Killed the Prom Queen and Thy Art Is Murder round out a headline contingent built to shake the decks of the Carnival Splendour across four nights.

The follow-up to the debut Hellbound cruise comes after overwhelming demand, with the first edition selling out in under ten minutes.

Organisers have doubled down with an expanded 2027 lineup bringing together some of the most influential names in modern metal, from global leaders to homegrown trailblazers.

Beyond the big five, the bill runs deep with a sprawling mix of local and international acts. Banks Arcade, Closure, Dead City Ruins, Down and Out, Elm Street, Future Static, Gravemind, Heavensgate, Hei’An, Major Arcana, Mammal, Maple’s Pet Dinosaur, Mirrors, No Apologies, Ocean Grove, RedHook, Rocky’s Pride & Joy and Starve are all locked in, along with Taking Back Saturday DJs and stage host MANOV.

Fans onboard can expect bands playing every night across multiple stages, delivering a constant rotation of heavy hitters.

The cruise also promises themed nights, immersive events and curated activities designed to keep metal fans fully immersed from sail-off to docking. A port stop in Tangalooma adds a breather in the form of dolphin encounters, sand tobogganing and shipwreck snorkelling.

Hellbound II sails 17–21 January 2027 aboard Carnival Splendour. Metal fans are urged to sign up for pre-sale access ahead of an expected quick sellout, with pre-sale opening Wednesday, 4 February at 11am AEDT and general sale launching Thursday, 5 February at 11am AEDT.
