Cheerleaders from across Australia depend on the Hunter for elite training camp

The Oxygen All Stars elite cheerleading camp kicks off in the Hunter Valley tomorrow with talented athletes coming from across the country to attend.

The three-day camp, hosted by some of the best coaches from around the world, will see 45 talented cheerleaders tumbling, flying and pulling off some amazing stunts while learning some important lessons about mindset and strength and conditioning.

Athletes will also have a fun itinerary including journaling, trampolining, stand-up paddle boarding and specialist chef catering for the week.

“We’re very excited that be providing our first elite camp with a focus on elite performance and cheerleading skills as well as providing essential life skills to athletes from within our own cheerleading family and beyond.” Owner of Oxygen All Stars Australia, Courtney Turton said.

“Oxygen athletes train between two and three days a week for their competition teams throughout the season and this elite camp is a great way for us to open our doors to athletes who want a taste of the Oxygen All Stars experience in the off-season. Due to the demand this year we are already looking at running the elite camp next summer and opening our doors to over 100 athletes.”

Oxygen All Stars has been providing cheerleading, tumbling and dancing for over 14 years in the Hunter Valley and in 2022 in Brisbane. Oxygen is the home to over 200 athletes and have been successful in securing International, National and State Championships and placed second at the 2022 Cheerleading Worlds.
